Some pictures look like the camera's fault but actually it's the fog that made the pictures blurryOk it is a trip to kundasang, but as you can see 90% of the pictures are...hmm... you could say err... a couple trip to kundasang XP, that isn't every pictures taken, there are more but i haven't upload yet due to (its not my camera used) so i got to wait :P
Anyway, let me start my story about my trip to kundasang with Nurain Afiza and family, they're sure fun to be with!!
We started our trip during the day, because we planned to stay the night in kundasang.
Firstly, we head up for Kundasang, its a very cold place i warned you very cold place! We went sightseeing to the lodges, such a beautiful lodges can be found there, unfortunately i forgotten the name of those beautiful lodges. It blew my mind away when i saw these staying places it is such a beautiful place to stay in.
By the time reaching the area of kundasang this cool fogs are thicker then i expected and it is absolutely cold we had to put our jackets on to warm ourselves and i was the only one wearing shorts!! (Trying to outcome the nature of cold!! Bleaahhss) That's definitely a huge mistake i did but it was fun and a challenge though. :)
We stopped at the gate where hikers hike towards the tallest mountain in Sabah, Mount Kinabalu. When we arrived, i can't see the Low's Peak of the Mount Kinabalu, too bad i thought to myself. But watching hikers coming back from hiking, god knows where have they reach, i'm thrill to see myself one day hiking and reaching the Low's Peak of Mount Kinabalu.
We continued our journey to a resort where we're staying for the night before we continue our journey to Ranau for the Hot spring at Poring Hot Spring. Upon arrival at the resort, the wind and the fog was at its most thickest and the coldest have encountered, according to my Darling's parents. We packed our bags to the resort and transported it to our room, such a beautiful room to stay, which is on the 5th floor not the highest but it is surely cold up there.
After unpacking our belongings, i and my darling with her little brothers quickly step out from the room to go sightseeing the resort. What attracted me was the hanging bridge going to these small but beautiful chalet. I told Bibi that i want to come to this hanging bridge to take some pictures with her and she agrees before i had finished my sentences. (Obviously she was thinking the same :P)
After we had done our sightseeing, we head up back to our room to get some rest, we children raced to enter the wash room to take a long warm water shower and bath.
Believe it or not the room does not have any air conditioning or even a ceiling fan or stand fan. It is originally cold outside, all we have to do is close the window when it is to cold and open when we want to freeze ourselves again just to play around with the sliding window and see the cold fog outside!
We went for our dinner early that evening, we ate, sup tulang with rice, chicken wings, and all of us drank hot drinks. In less than half hour the hot drinks we order had turn into cold drinks!! now picture the drinks turned from hot to cold in less then 30 minutes... Scary coldness!!!
Back to the resort, we all showered once more, before i enter the wash room i was freezing like and ice. I turned the tap on and i do not know whether the water is too hot or just nice, all i can feel is some sort of tingling sensation i felt in my entire body but the showering part definitely the best part, i soaked myself in the bath tub almost 10 minutes or so. It really feels WARM!!! no matter how hot the water is, there's nothing hot to felt except warm!
The rest of the night, the story started at my blog on my birthday story.
Next morning, most of us woke up around 3 to 4 in the morning. The reason why we woke up early... IT WAS FREAKING COLDDD!!!! myself and my gf shower twice that morning, first shower was just soaked ourselves, second shower was real showering + soaking again!! Hmmm.... comfy warm water shower!!!
We went downstairs to have our breakfast and i ate a lot!! wow who can resist once saw lots and lots of favourite food stacking up the buffet!
We checked out from the resort just before 9am to go to Poring Hot Spring at Ranau.
At the hot spring, it was so much fun, we went up to the canopy walk (hanging bridge) much higher then the one they have at the resort. Then we played the water slide till we children had bruises on our left hip XP.
We finished our time there till quarter to 1pm and it was time to head home to KK. During our journey going back all of us slept due to less sleep and tired after playing earlier on.
I was sleeping with a MP3 tucked in my ear till i heard someone called out my name and said something. There it was THE LOW'S PEAK of Mount Kinabalu!!! I managed to see it with my naked and sleepy eyes but i have succeeded to see it!!! It was clear up there with only fogs at both end, it was honestly a beautiful mountain!
On our back to KK we did not use the road going to Kundasang. Instead, Darling's Dad, used the road where people always mention Tamparuli's bridge "Jambatan Tamparuli". Such a tall in height bridge and it is still in use as a walking pathway because there's a road now built for car's pathway as well.
We arrive to our home after 4pm and everyone was half tired after resting in the car.
